Do you really know me

How well do you know me? You must be thinking that you know me very well. But let me tell you that you only know what I want to tell and there are millions of things about me, of which you are not even aware. This poem is disbelief about individuals who think that they know about me.

Do you really know me?

Do you really know me?

I am a known stranger to you.

You only know what’s on the outside,

MY inside is still dark to you.

You are not even familiar to my shadow,

Knowing me is even far from you.

Reading a page from A book of mine,

This book is not known to you.

Think to spend a day with me,

My entire life has been away from you.

A moment shared recently together,

My memories are still away from you.

You heard what I was like,

Think again, I was not you.

Knowing me is A bit difficult,

So let me understand you.

A plethora of what's inside me,

Will never be known to you.

You know what I want to say,

Many truths are still away from you.

Inside lies the river of my feelings,

That is not understood by you.

I am a new book,

Cover of which is not understood by you.

A book full of intricacies,

Author of which is not known to you.

Do you really know me?

I am a known stranger to you.
