Hope

On the long road in the starry night

Reef Rubble Rusted

In this world

I see nothing divine

I walk home wondering whether it be the last ride

Tormented tortured tied

In this world

I see nothing divine

At me the young couple in the corner smiled

All I can remember is the heartbreak of mine

Whimpered wallowed whined

In this world

I see nothing divine

Briefcases in their hands these gentlemen perfectly styled

The inability of my efforts resonates time after time

Stumbled screamed sighed

In this world

I see nothing divine

On the long road in the starry night a warm breeze arrived

It was the time for sun to shine

Crucified crumbled cried

Just like that my heart unpiled

There must be something divine

Maybe in the morning the world will be fine
